This step drill features a unique patented step tip design that allows for quick and efficient drilling without the necessity of pre-drilling. Coated with AlTiN, it ensures longer sharpness and tool life while significantly reducing cutting heat and edge wear. The dual cutting edges enable drilling at three times the speed, producing burr-free holes up to 3.5mm. With a ¼" Quick-Change shank, it is compatible with cordless drills and impact drivers, making it ideal for onsite use across a wide range of materials including steel, stainless steel, wood, and plastic. For enhanced performance, the use of Alpha Liquid Gold Cutting Lubricant is recommended when drilling steel.
