This highly durable and hard-wearing varnish is suitable for various applications, including doors, windows, trim, and furniture. It effectively resists stains and scratches while enhancing the natural grain of the timber. For optimal results, proper surface preparation is essential. This includes filling any defects with Cabot’s Wood Tone Putty and ensuring surfaces are clean and smooth. The application process requires shaking the can well and applying light coats from a distance to achieve a consistent finish. For exterior timber, a minimum of four coats is recommended, depending on the timber's porosity.
