This includes filling any defects with Cabot’s Wood Tone Putty and ensuring surfaces are clean and smooth. The application process requires shaking the can well and applying light coats from a distance to achieve a consistent finish. For exterior timber, a minimum of four coats is recommended, depending on the timber's porosity.
