Developed in collaboration with experts from the University of New South Wales Sydney, it is free from halogenated flame retardants and forms a protective char layer when exposed to flames or heat. This barrier helps prevent ignition of the underlying surface, slows flame spread, and reduces smoke generation, thereby enhancing safety and minimising property damage. Firecoat 4l is easy to apply using a brush, roller, or sprayer, making it suitable for both professionals and DIY enthusiasts.
