It incorporates back draught shutters that prevent warm air from escaping into the roof cavity when the fan is not in use, maintaining a comfortable temperature and reducing heating energy requirements. This design is suitable for 5-Star Energy Rated homes where exhausting into the roof cavity is permissible. The fan is rated IPX2, making it suitable for installation above showers, and features a fascia that can be easily removed for cleaning, which is also dishwasher safe.
