Clean clothes that smell of nothing much by the time you wear them? Scent beads are made for that gap. Downy Calm adds a layer of fragrance during the wash itself, so the scent is already in the fibres when the cycle ends.

The calming blend pairs lavender with vanilla bean. Tip the beads into the machine first, then load your washing on top. The brand describes them as safe on all washable fabrics and suitable for every kind of load and washer, and it markets Downy as America's number one scent booster brand, based on sales data.
