They have an M10 internal thread, so they accept any standard M10 bolt, castor stem or levelling foot with a matching M10 thread.

How do you fit a T nut into timber?

Drill a clearance hole for the barrel, then press or tap the nut in from the back so the prongs bite into the timber and hold it square while you tighten the bolt.

What material are they made from?

Zinc plated steel, which gives the thread strength and a degree of corrosion resistance for indoor use.
