Description

This Nutrifield Premium Coco Chip blend is made from high quality coconut husk and is suitable for hydroponic systems and general gardening. Unlike Coco Perlite, this blend is minimally processed, with larger particle sizes of 12 to 25mm to support aeration and drainage within the substrate.

The coco chips do not compress in the substrate, helping retain air pockets and gaps around the roots and soil. These air pockets promote aeration and help fight anaerobic microbes, which can be pathogenic. The product is RHP certified for quality and consistency, and is rinsed, pH balanced and pre-buffered with calcium.
