As a masonry screw it cuts its own thread and fixes directly into the substrate without a separate plastic anchor, with a patented WERCS thread that reduces jamming.

Do masonry screws need a separate anchor?

No. The AnkaScrew cuts its own thread directly into concrete, brick or block, so a separate plastic anchor is not required.

Can I use it to attach a sill plate to concrete?

Yes. Drill a 10mm hole through the timber into the concrete and drive the anchor; the flanged hex head clamps the plate down.

What drill size do I need?
