Made from hardened high carbon steel with a galvanised finish and a flanged hex head, it drives straight into a pre-drilled hole and stays fully removable when you need to relocate or reuse the fixing.

What size hole do I drill for this anchor?

Use a 8mm masonry drill bit. The 8 x 100mm AnkaScrew is matched to a 8mm hole.

What can I fix it into?

It is designed for concrete, brick and block. Drill a clean hole, clear the dust, then drive the anchor in.

Is the anchor removable?

Yes. The screw-in AnkaScrew is fully removable, so you can back it out and relocate or reuse the fixing.

What head does it have?

A flanged hex head, which you drive with a standard socket and which spreads the clamping load.

Do masonry screws need anchors?

No separate plug is needed. The AnkaScrew is a self-anchoring masonry screw that cuts its own thread directly into the 8mm hole in concrete, brick or block.

How do you attach a sill plate to concrete with these?

Drill a 8mm hole through the sill plate into the slab, clear the dust, then drive the 8 x 100mm AnkaScrew with a socket until the flanged hex head pulls the plate down tight.
