The Sutton Tools 38mm TCT multi-purpose holesaw cuts clean round holes through a long list of materials — timber, hardwood, softwood, MDF, plasterboard, compressed fibro, cement sheet, plastics, ceramic tiles, bricks and other abrasive materials.

The 38mm size suits downlight junctions, pipe penetrations and cable passes through walls, floors and tiled surfaces. The carbide teeth survive abrasive sheet materials that wreck bi-metal holesaws. Run it with a compatible holesaw arbor and pilot drill at low speed, and let the teeth cut without leaning on the drill.
