Redness, irritation and missed patches are the most common complaints about electric shavers. The P3 from Laifen addresses them with a thin foil, a flexible head and a skin-friendly build.

Its 0.55mm electroformed foil has ultra-smooth edges to reduce friction, micro-scratches and post-shave breakouts, while sharp angled inner blades handle thick, coarse stubble. The ArcBlade layout widens the shaving surface to 146.2°, which Laifen says increases coverage by 54%. Two foil heads and a trimmer head sit on a floating head that follows the curves of your face, and an open comb catches flat-lying hairs so you need fewer strokes. The body is a glass fibre reinforced composite with a UV Monocoat finish, and a transparent window shows the motors inside. A 3-minute quick charge gives 7 minutes of use.
